Is there a secret link between Josip Vaništa, Oleg Kulik and the Russian group Blue Noses? In the remade Vila Polesini on the edge of Poreč, with a sea view and a small island with a red lighthouse, a „three-way-pact“ has been planned with seemingly incompatible artistic destinies. As part of the „Artist on Vacation“ by Valamar project (Lanterna, north of Poreč), the Institute for the Research of the Avant-Garde showed this type of joining on an exhibition. The unknown collages of one of the doajen's of Croatian conceptual practices is countered against Kulik's low passions or Russian-style animalism, or the counter-, populist jokes about the Russian society, or its social, political and cultural scene, by the Blue Noses Group. .  [...]
