Bozidar Jelinić (Ivanec, 1924) attended the Higher Teacher Training College (technical & art departement). Jelinić is active painter and art critic. He has worked in daily papers: Slobodna Dalmacija, Oslobođenje, Vjesnik, and magazines Čovjek i prostor / Man and Space (specialised in architecture), Danas / Today and Mogućnosti / Posibilities. He was a part-time teacher at the School of Applied Arts in Split where he was lecturing some members of the notorious art group Crveni Peristil / Red Peristyle, and art teacher during 1945 - 1958 period. His art practice includes set designs, caricature, books and posters design. Božidar Jelinić died in Split, 2011.
