Slobodan Tišma (Stara Pazova, 1946) studied at the Faculty of Arts in Novi Sad and the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. He was an editor of the cultural column in the magazine Indeks in 1969, the editor of the literary program of Tribina mladih (The Youth Tribune) in 1970, and the editor of the magazine Polja (Fields) in 1971. He was a member of the KÔD Group. As a member of the KÔD Group he exhibited in the Mladi umetnici i mladi kritičari 71 (Young Artists and Young Critics 71), at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade. He was active in conceptual art, poetry and rock music (the bands La Strada and Luna). Today he writes poetry and prose. He lives in Novi Sad.
