Teresa Tyszkiewicz was born in 1953 in Ciechanów, Poland. She is an author of short films, works in the media of photography, performance, drawings, objects, sculptures. She graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture at the University of Warsaw. Since 1982, she has lived in Paris with her husband Zdzisław Sosnowski, also an artist, with whom she has made several films. Her works are in many public and private collections. In her video works she mostly uses her body as a medium. In France, she began to develop a new expression, building objects from pins. She introduces a magical and feminine context into them. She often explores female sexuality.
