Suffering is for an unknown reason. In temporal terms it can last, for example, 3 minutes.
I imagine collective suffering like this:
The participants start to suffer collectively at a set moment and in complete silence. It is forbidden to suffer for any personal individual reason. Each participant suffers for some common reason, which is unfamiliar to them. If someone does not manage to endure the collective suffering, they stand up in silence and walk away.
