Vladimir Gudac was born in 1951 in Opatija, Croatia. He was Head of the Students' Centre Gallery from 1980 until 1990. Together with Dubravko Budić, he was a founding member of the activist art group Tok (1972 – 1973). He is active in interdisciplinary research of media through photography, video, installation and performance.
