Klara Kemp-Welch a university professor the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where she lectures in modern and contemporary art history. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses on European and Latin American art. She is the author of Antipolitics in Central European Art 1956-1989. Reticence as Dissidence under Post-Totalitarian Rule (2013) and her recent book project is Networking the Bloc. International Relations and Experimental Art in Eastern Europe. She lives and works in London, UK.
